I stamped the images onto some smooth Bristol cardstock and colored them using my Zig Clean Color markers. I started with just a touch of the No. 060 Brown at the base of the bulb and then colored over it with No. 050 Yellow. I used a paintbrush and some water to gently blend the colors together. I colored the No. 050 Yellow onto a plastic surface and pulled some color with my paintbrush to add the light yellow at the bottom of the bulbs. I finished off the bulbs with a little Wink of Stella to add some sparkle.
I die cut the sentiment “brilliant” a couple of times from black cardstock and layered them to create some depth. The letters are from the Classic Block Alpha die set. They’re colored with the No. 050 Yellow Zig Clean marker and topped with some Wink of Stella glitter.
I adhered everything to a polka dot background from the Color Crush Patterns by The Stamp Market. The card base is 80lb Neenah Classic Crest cardstock in Solar White.
I’ve been practicing more and more with these Zig Clean markers and I really like how quickly you can color an image with them. They are really vibrant and they’ve made a fun addition to my marker collection! Thanks for stopping by today & happy crafting, everyone!
