Enjoy your big day!

Don’t forget you have until Sunday, July 7th to enter the Power Poppy Blog Hop giveaway!

Happy Friday! I hope you enjoyed your 4th of July. I’m back today sharing another card I made with the Power Poppy July release.

Today I’m using the Strong & Beautiful (PPJUN1901) stamp set. I stamped it with Versafine Clair ink in Nocturne on some Bristol smooth cardstock. Then I colored it using my set of 12 Zig Clean Color markers. Once it was colored I touched it up with some Ink3 Liquid Pixie Dust. This was my first time using the liquid pixie dust and I absolutely love it! It’s hard to capture in pictures but it’s like Wink of Stella amped up! I’ll be pulling this out a lot.

I die cut the Framed Tags - Artist Mat die by Mama Elephant using some Hero Arts cardstock in Mist. I cut down the watercolored image to fit behind the frame and adhered the frame over it. I stamped the sentiment onto the same Mist colored cardstock with some Versamark ink and embossed it in white. Then I adhered it to the front of the card with some foam tape.

The entire framed image was adhered to a 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock base. I hope you find this card inspiring. Thanks for stopping by today!

Hello All. I’m sharing another card using the July Power Poppy release!

I started by stamping the images from the Woodland Carpet (PPJUN1902) set with Versafine Clair ink in Nocturne on some Bristol smooth cardstock. Then I colored it using my set of 12 Zig Clean Color markers. Once it was colored I set it aside.

Next I cut a frame from some Hero Arts cardstock in Papaya using the Mama Elephant, Framed Tags - Park Avenue. Then I created a card base using some 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock. I layered the colored image onto the card base and then adhered the frame over it.

It was a super simple, quick card to pull together. I really like vivid colors of the Zig Clean Color markers to pack a punch on floral images.
