Welcome to World Cardmaking day! I won’t be able to celebrate until tonight when I’m done watching my kids play sports, but I can still shop and get this awesome discount! Head over to the Ellen Hutson shop to get 20% off today with code WCMD18 in honor of World Cardmaking Day!
Today I’m sharing a card I made using the Woodsy Lady. She’s probably my most favorite of the Leading Ladies because she is such a PNW gal! For this card I decided to just use her boots and the lamp accessory. I stamped the images in Memento Ink and colored them with Copic markers. Then I die cut the images and set them aside.
I used my blending tool to color in a rectangle with Distress Oxide in Wild Honey. I used my Ranger Sprayer to add some texture to the background. Then I stamped the sentiment using my Versamark ink pad and embossed it with black embossing powder.
I adhered the rectangle to the front of a white card base. Then I attached the die cut images using some foam tape. I finished off the card using some Pretty Pink Posh Jewels. I added some 3M washi tape at the bottom for some added color.
I hope you have an awesome World Cardmaking Day!
