Hello everyone! Today’s card was created on an A2 base of Hero Arts cardstock in Arctic. I love this soft color for winter themed cards.
Can you believe I used just TWO Copic colors to create this card?! I used BG10 for shadows and R20 to create the rosy cheeks on the polar bears. The constellation background really packs a punch for this card design. It’s part of this month’s Essentials by Ellen release and it is perfect for creating night skies.
The first thing I did is combine my Distress Oxide inks to create the night sky on some white cardstock. I started with Blueprint Sketch and then layered on Chipped Sapphire. Then I ran the colored base through my die cutting machine with the Constellation background. To create the stars, I splashed the background with some gold watercolor from my Starry Colors collection.
I layered the hills from the Landscapes die set on the background I created. Then adhered my die cut images over that with liquid adhesive and foam tape. I added some Aqua Shimmer to the snow and ice and called it good! I love the contrast of the white against the bright blue background.
