We spent Thanksgiving in Colorado this year and before we left I had already decided that I would be documenting this trip in a 3x8 album. Today I’m sharing a layout that I did for my album using a new release by Paislee Press.
My friend, Heather, made the cutest little place cards for dinner. We assembled them while I was there and it was such a fun little project to do together. She typed up everyone’s names and tied them with twine to little deer die cut from cardstock that were holding a cute little pumpkin pie sugar cookie. SO FUN!! (Her mom takes orders for custom sugar cookies if you’re ever in the market!)
Since we so rarely get our families together, we decided that it would also be a very Christmas-y visit. So she had her Christmas trees (yes trees) up with twinkle lights. They served as the perfect backdrop to the dinner table for our Thanksgiving feast.
I’ll share layouts from this album as I complete them. I’m still trying to finish the October Daily album, so why not add another one to the list! HA! At least I have my December Daily cover page completed, maybe I’ll actually get that done in December. (yeah, right!)
I hope you’re enjoying the start of the crazy holiday season! I’m doing my best to get into the Christmas spirit early and get my decorations up! Happy crafting, peeps.
