The first thing you will need to do is create the holder for the 4oz coffee cup I am using for this project. You can make 3 coffee cup holders from a single sheet of 8 1/2” x 11” sheet of cardstock.
Cut the cardstock down to 2 1/2” x 11”.
Score this piece of cardstock at 4 1/2”, 7”, 7 3/4” and 10 1/4”.
Cut a 2 1/4” x 3 1/2” piece of patterned cardstock for the background. (I cut mine out of white cardstock and stenciled a rainbow cloud pattern on it!)
Next you’ll need to create a paper sleeve for the 4oz coffee cup. I’ve created a Silhouette file for those of you that have a Silhouette or if you don’t you can cut out the .png file I’ve provided below. Don’t stress if you don’t have a Silhouette, it’s a super easy shape to cut by hand.

I cut my sleeve from white cardstock and stamped it with a rainbow from the Unicorns ‘N Rainbows set. Then I colored it with Copic Markers. Next I used the Letterboard Script 2 sentiment “smile” at the top of my coffee cup holder. I smeared it with my embossing ink and used some Wow Embossing powder in Primary Bird of Paradise. It was a perfect match with the Distress Ink Candied Apple. I used Wow Embossing powder in Hot Gossip for the heart on the lid. The bear and heart are from the All Inside set by Ellen Hutson.
I added a paper straw and some twine to my little cup as a finishing touch. You can tuck a gift card on the back of this Coffee Cup Treat Holder or just fill the little cup with candy or a small gift. I like to use them for teacher gifts and coaches gifts.
Take a look at my video to see how I pulled this little gift holder together for this project! (I apologize for the shaky table!)
