I think my most favorite addition to our holiday celebrations this year is this hot chocolate stand. Pottery Barn came out with the cutest, vintage mugs this year and I just had to have them. Then it spiraled into this whole stand with different kinds of hot chocolate and all the fun toppings! My kids were so excited to see this new tradition.
I’ve been picking up hot chocolate at Crate & Barrel, Target, Starbucks and Whole Foods to add to this stand. My kids have been enjoying a cup of hot chocolate in the evenings in these fun mugs. Once the tree is up and decorated (hopefully this weekend), I’ll capture some fun pictures of them with the mugs.
I used some printables by In A Creative Bubble and 3x4 cards from on of Kelly Purkey’s kits to create this layout. I’m adding a 3x8 transparency in front of it that’s from Ali Edward’s December Daily release this year. I like the added staples to hold the pile of labels and tickets on the journal card. So fun!
I let the pictures tell the story this time. This layout came together quickly, which was just what I needed yesterday. This year I’m finding that having everything in a drawer next to my work area is working great for me since I don’t have foundation pages. I have a nice selection of options for my layouts and I’m not feeling stressed at all.
Don’t forget to stop by tomorrow for the next layout! Hope you are having a great start to December. Happy crafting!
