Welcome to Day 3 of my December Daily album. This entry was about something we received in the mail that has become a tradition around here. We have a strong connection to Germany for a variety of reasons, but one of them is close friends. Several of them that live around Germany. Every year one of them sends us a box filled with German treats. Our kids love them!
In today’s journaling I shared a story about how special it is for us to share our memories about Germany with our kids. How they each have favorites now from the box of treats. It’s really great how excited they get about this box. Hopefully we will all find our way back to Germany as a family so that we can create memories together.
In the mean time, we will share the greetings from our friends. Teach them how to say “Merry Christmas” in German. Talk to them about German traditions and hope they remember these moments as they grow up.
I used a Paisley Press 6x8 template for today’s photo. It’s from December Faves No. 6. I used embellishments from Feed Your Craft and Crate Paper. I’ve created a link to my December Daily 2018 album in my side bar. If you’d like to just look at the pictures, I’ll be adding them in that album as the month progresses.
See you tomorrow with Day 4! Happy Crafting, Peeps!
