Hello Crafty Friends! Today I'm sharing some gift tags I made for my youngest son. His birthday is in August and it's bitter sweet for me this year. He finished preschool and he's headed off to kindergarten this school year.
I used the Mama Elephant Tiny Heroes stamp set + matching dies. I stamped them using Memento ink because that ink doesn't bleed with Copics. I've listed the Copic colors I used on this project below.
Whenever I can, I use the VersaFine Clair ink for sentiments. Seriously, if you don't own this yet ... YOU NEED IT! You get the crispest, dark impression on the first try with this ink. It's my go-to for sentiments.
For the tags I used the Mama Elephant Framed Tags - Hexastar die set. This is such a versatile set and includes a star that works really well with the Tiny Heros. If there was one tag die set I'd recommend investing in, it's this one. The range of sizes in this set are really great. I got it a few weeks ago and it has been on my craft table ever since.
The stars in the photos are from an old Ali Edwards story kit, but I've linked a similar size star below that's also by Mama Elephant. The stars in that set are about 1/4" and would work great with the Tiny Heroes stamps.
Thanks for stopping by today. We've still got a month before school starts, but best of luck to all of you sending your kids off to school this month!
