I have always enjoyed card making. In recent years so many stamp manufacturers have released some really fun gift tag dies that I've started making tags for every occasion. I love all the shapes and sizes available! When I received my Felicity Jane Henley kit in the mail and saw the Henley stamp set with layered flowers, I immediately thought they'd be so fun on some gift tags. I picked out three pigment ink colors from my stash and started playing.

The stamp set comes with three different areas of detail on the flower that are three different sizes. The intent is that you layer the stamps to create an image of the rose that has more depth. Start with the largest stamp in your lightest color and continue to layer with each of the stamps going lightest to darkest in ink color. I tried to find a portion of the image that lined up every time to keep my images consistent. It takes a little practice, but the end result is really fun!

I then stamped the heart from the stamp set between the flowers, added some sequins (who doesn't love a matte gold sequin!) and adhered a piece of the mini pom-pom trim to the bottom of the tag. I then used a smaller, thin tag die by Mama Elephant to stamp a few hearts and a sentiment at the bottom. I used one of the larger gold, matte sequins at the top and punched a larger hole through it.

Let me know if you try using this stamp. I'd love to see your projects!
