Everyday Explorers - March release 01

Stamped image on the journal card from the Spring is Here stamp set by Everyday Explorers.

I am not a graphic designer, but I feel like my career in interior design provides me a sensibility towards design in general. I am very drawn to typeface. I enjoy purchasing stamps for my scrapbooking projects that are just really clean and simple graphics. A year ago that wasn't the case. I admired the stamps, but my style wasn't really fully baked. *laugh*

This month's release by EVERYDAY EXPLORERS has some really fun planner and travel images. The images are right up my alley. If you checked out my MINI-ALBUM GALLERY, you saw the album I did of my travels to Palm Springs. Even when I create a mini-album, I always like to integrate a scrapbook spread into my Project Life album. I used the "Spring is Here" stamp set to create my own journal cards and I used my typewriter to add my journaling.

I scanned a postcard I bought at the visitor's center at Joshua Tree & printed it to use as a journal card. I could not bring myself to cut it down to 4x6 so it would fit in my album. Joshua Tree was on my bucket list of places to visit. It was so beautiful and breathtaking. I'd love to go back with my kids someday. It was windy, warm and sunny the day we drove around. I'll definitely be back.
