Below are a few of the products I used to make my cards. Thanks for stopping by today! Happy Crafting, everyone!
Happy Monday, everyone!
I decided to try the Zig Clean markers on this project and I really enjoyed using them! I continue to learn how to best apply them and what techniques work best for me. For this project I painted the markers on to a piece of clear plastic and then used my water brush to add the color to the images.
I stamped the images using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne - it’s safe for use with watercolors. I stamped the images and heat set them so that they wouldn’t smudge. I’ve accidentally smudged my images in the past when I stamp and start the watercolor right away. *laugh* Lesson learned!
I blended the Oxide inks on the Neenah Solar White 80lb card base first. Then I die cut some Smooth Bristol cardstock and die cut a heart from the center. Next I pulled some warm gray cardstock from the Hero Hues sampler pack by Hero Arts and die cut a hill. (I really recommend picking up a sampler pack of the cardstock, it has really helped me decide what colors I use most!)
The card is assembled in the following order:
First the die cut heart base is adhered to the card base
Next I added the warm gray hill
Then the die cut colored images
Finished it off with some sequins + jewels
It comes together really quickly once the images are colored and die cut. Thanks for stopping by today, everyone! Happy crafting.
Rolling right into this new release from the Essentials by Ellen line just squealing with excitement! This new Good Times stamp set designed by Julie Ebersole is super cute & so fun for any occasion!
I cut down a piece of the Hero Arts cardstock in Nautical and embossed the sentiment using some Ranger Super Fine embossing powder in gold. It’s adhered to a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock.
Next I stamped the images with VersaClair ink in Nocturne on some Strathmore Smooth Bristol cardstock and used my watercolors to paint it with a water brush. They’re die cut and adhered to the card front with some dot roller adhesive.
I like that these images and sentiments are large enough to stand on their own for a quick card. With the right color scheme they can be used for any holiday! Thanks for stopping by today and happy crafting, everyone!
