October is upon us and I am so ready for it! I did my October Daily foundation pages in September so that I could just spend 30 min daily putting a page together for my album. You can follow along with me on Instagram or take a look at my October Daily pages here on my blog. You can find my mini-albums on “MY WORK” page. The link is at the top of my blog.
I’m using the Crate Paper - Hey Pumpkin collection for my album this year. I will be throwing in a few other leftover products from past years, but for the most part I’m using Crate Paper. My album is a black & white striped album by Simple Stories.
I’ve provided links to a few of the products I’m using below. If you have any questions regarding any of the products you see as I share my album, please feel free to send me a message. You can see my album progress on my October Daily 2019 page. I’ll be doing a video walk-thru of this album in November, so stay tuned!
I made a conscious effort this year not to purchase a ton of new products. I did buy almost all of the Crate Paper release, but I pulled out all my past Halloween stamps sets. I’m not going to get on a soapbox about new products, that’s not what this is about at all. I really like the stamps sets I’ve purchased for this project over the years and I didn’t want to go out and buy all new stamps sets this year. I wanted to use the ones that I already own. The month flies by and my stamps barely get any love! *laugh*
So it’s my hope that if you don’t own any of the retired stamp sets I’m using that at a minimum you’re inspired by my project layouts. That something about them sparks something for you in your own layouts. Which leads me to my next question … Are you doing an October Daily album? I did a poll on Instagram and over 60% of my followers don’t do one. Which makes me sad, but I get it. It’s not for everyone.
If you are working on this project, leave me a comment with a link to your Instagram or blog! I would love to see how others approach this project. Thanks for stopping by today!
